It's a renovation of an hotel. The project is sprung from a sensible analysis of the city.

Lot of light wells, chimneys, ventilations

 

First idea : to create sort of "viewers", collectors of light, pure abstraction of the analysis components.

They imitate the city thanks to mirrors which reflect the surroundings. The building doesn't proclaim any style or movement, just an actual state. It frees itself from the whole rules.

 

 

 

Second idea : the swimming pool becomes a central component of the project. All is converging upon it.

 

Third idea : circulations crept into and between the buildings. They disappeare thanks to their skin of mirrors.

 

Below the swimming pool, the sauna and its massive columns, and wherein spreads the steam. A dune allows the communication between 2 levels and is used as solarium.

 

My participation stopped here.
